Uiagalelei still outsider looking in according to latest Top 10 QB Rankings

Clemson’s DJ Uiagalelei was still noticeably absent from USA Today’s Top 10 quarterbacks despite two back-to-back ranked wins.

It seems Clemson’s DJ Uiagalelei may still be an outsider looking in.

In USA TODAY’s latest college football Top 10 quarterback rankings, the starting quarterback was still noticeably missing from the list despite having two impressive back-to-back wins over top-ranked ACC opponents in Wake Forest and NC State.

The college football quarterback rankings by USA TODAY’s Paul Myerberg ranked Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud as the top dog followed by Tennessee’s Hendon Hooker (previously 3) and Alabama’s Bryce Young to round out the top 3. In addition, Myerberg included Caleb Williams (Southern California), Sam Hartman (Wake Forest), Jalon Daniels (Kansas), Stetson Bennett (Georgia), Drake Maye (North Carolina), J.J. McCarthy (Michigan) and Will Rogers (Mississippi State) in the top 10.

Sophomore Drake Maye joined Sam Hartman as the lone pair of ACC quarterbacks ranked within in top 10. Clemson remains the only top 5 team to not have a quarterback included.
