The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to wide receiver Lewis Carter. Carter is a member of the class of 2023, so he’s currently a sophomore in high school.
Carter, who has already receiver recruiting attention from major college football programs, plays high school football for Tampa Catholic in Tampa, Florida.
Carter doesn’t yet have a star rating, but based on the recruiting attention he’s receiver, he’ll get one soon. Some sites consider Carter to be an athlete, not a wide receiver. Carter certainly has the build to play skill positions at six-foot tall and 190 pounds.
Carter has already received scholarship offers from Texas A&M, Auburn, UCF, Penn State, Nebraska, and more.
Carter also plays defensive back and isn’t afraid to come up in run support. He’s a versatile athlete, who has some impressive tape.
