UGA football offers scholarship to tall, speedy defensive back recruit Dawayne Galloway

The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to elite defensive back recruit Dawayne Galloway. Galloway has an impressive combination of size and speed that is making him a rising recruit.

Dawayne Galloway is ranked as a three-star recruit in the class of 2025. Galloway has elite speed and runs track at a very high level.

Galloway plays high school football for Marion-Franklin High School in Columbus, Ohio. The 6-foot-2, 175-pound cornerback is ranked as a three-star recruit, per 247Sports.

The Marion-Franklin standout is the No. 40 cornerback in the class of 2025 and the No. 13 player in Ohio. As a sophomore, Galloway placed second in the state finals in both the 100-meters and 200-meters events.

Galloway has received over 10 scholarship offers since Georgia offered him a scholarship in late September. Galloway’s recent scholarship offers include Liberty, Auburn, Oklahoma, and West Virginia.

Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs have the nation’s top recruiting class in the 2025 cycle.
