Texas added the seventh member to its 2024 recruiting class on Saturday.
Four-star running back Jerrick Gibson announced his commitment to Texas while in Austin on an official visit. He joins four-star Christian Clark as the second running back to commit to the Longhorns over the few days.
For Texas running backs coach Tashard Choice, his hot streak continues on the recruiting trail. Choice and the Texas staff brought in Cedric Baxter and Tre Wisner in 2023 and have now landed their top two targets in 2024.
Not only has Texas been recruiting the position well, they’ve been able to go out of state to grab the top running backs in the country.
