Twitter reacts to J.T. Tuimoloau’s interception at Penn State

J.T. Tuimoloau is playing with his hair on fire. Late in the first quarter and Ohio State leads Penn State 10-0 largely due in part to Tuimoloau’s play.

On Penn State’s first possession, big No. 44 got some pressure on Nittany Lion quarterback Sean Clifford and tipped the ball high in the air where Zach Harrison was able to pull it in for an interception. While OSU wasn’t able to capitalize on that turnover, Tuimoloau would strike again on Penn State’s very next possession.

Clifford dropped back on a third and short and Tuimoloau dropped into coverage. As soon as the ball was released, the former five-star recruit reacted to slide in front of the PSU receiver to snag the pass for an INT of his own, the first of his career.
