Florida basketball scored one of the biggest wins this season on Saturday against the visiting Auburn Tigers inside the O’Connell Center. The oddsmakers and BPI all predicted a close one, but instead, the Gators went wire-to-wire for an 81-65 victory.
It was one of the most complete efforts of the season for Todd Golden’s Gators, who kept the pressure on until easing back during the final 10 minutes. Despite allowing Bruce Pearl’s boys to make the final tally a bit more respectable, the Orange and Blue were clearly the better team that afternoon.
