Twitter reacts to Bears safety Jaquan Brisker’s kick and pick

Bears safety Jaquan Brisker took a shot below the belt, but got revenge with his first career interception against the Patriots.

Chicago Bears safety Jaquan Brisker had an eventful series in the second quarter to say the least. During the Patriots third drive of the game, Brisker had a scare after getting hit a cleat right below the belt on a scramble by Mac Jones, needing to leave the game for a play.

Fortunately for him, Brisker rebounded in a big way and got his revenge. After returning to the field, Brisker made an incredible one-handed interception, the first one of his career, to give the Bears the ball back. It even resulted in Jones’ benching as rookie Bailey Zappe took over on the following possession.

It was a big moment for Brisker but perhaps an even bigger moment for Bears fans on Twitter. It seems everyone was going through a wide range of emotions in the few minutes between his “injury” and the interception.
