On Tuesday afternoon, Tua Tagovailoa met with local Alabama media to discuss his future, and he also updated the media on his rebab, his personal goals, and where he is at.

Some speculated that this press conference would be Tagovailoa’s way of making an announcement on whether he was returning for his senior year, or declaring for the NFL Draft, but Alabama made it clear it was neither.

Tagovailoa, who suffered a season ending hip injury against Mississippi State in November, simply shared that he still needs time to make a decision.

Tagovailoa did say that it would be tough to pass up going pro if he found out he’s still in a position to be a top 10 or even top 15 draft pick, but then reiterated there’s more to consider, and that’s something he is discussing with his family.

As for his recovery, Tagovailoa shared that he also suffered a concussion during the Mississippi State game and doesn’t remember every single thing, but does remember every single small movement hurting.

Tagovailoa also thanked the Alabama medical team who has continued to help him throughout his recovery and rehab.

Roll Tide Wire will continue to keep you updated on the very latest regarding Tua Tagovailoa’s decision on whether he’ll return to Alabama for his senior year, or whether he’ll declare for the NFL Draft.
