Trey Hendrickson dominated again in win over Colts

Trey Hendrickson put up more wild numbers against the Colts.

In the Cincinnati Bengals‘ win over the Indianapolis Colts, defensive end Trey Hendrickson continued his strong season he has been putting together.

When he was matched up across the line from Bernhard Raimann, he recorded seven pressures in 21 matchups against Raimann. It was the second straight game in which Hendrickson has had seven or more pressures according to NextGen Stats.

Even with the game put away, Hendrickson was still giving it his all, sacking Gardner Minshew on a 4th and 15 with the Bengals up by 17 points more than halfway through the fourth quarter.

Before Week 14’s Monday night games began, Hendrickson was fifth in the NFL with 65 pressures so far throughout the season.

After suffering a hyperextended knee a month ago, he hasn’t missed a beat. He not only has a lot of pressures, but he’s very efficient and ranks among the best in pressure rates as well, at times even when the rest of the defensive line wasn’t at its best.

Through 13 games, Hendrickson has 13.5 sacks which is tied for third in the league, and is only half of a sack short of his career-best year in 2021, his first year with the Bengals when he had 14 sacks in 16 games.
