Trevor Lawrence to throw for NFL teams, then have shoulder surgery

Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence will have a workout for NFL teams before undergoing surgery on his non-throwing shoulder

Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence will hold a throwing workout for NFL teams on February 12th instead of taking part in the Tigers’ pro day workout.

Throwing early will allow him to undergo surgery for a newly discovered injury to the labrum in his non-throwing shoulder. Lawrence is expected to be fully recovered for training camp, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Lawrence is expected to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft.
