Trevor Lawrence thinks Jaguars have advantage on Bills already being in London

Trevor Lawrence thinks #Jaguars have advantage on #Bills already being in London:

The Jaguars feel like they’re going to walk into Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday and have a leg up on the Bills.

For the first time in NFL history, a team is playing in back-to-back games overseas. Last week, the Jags (2-2) beat the Falcons in London.

Naturally there’s no point in the Falcons coming back to the United States. Might as well wait for the Bills (3-1) to arrive and that’s exactly what they’re doing.

They hope it gives them a better chance at winning.

“We’re going to obviously be well-rested, adapted to the time change, because that is a real thing,” quarterback Trevor Lawrence said via Jaguars Wire. “You’re on a big time change, it’s a long travel day. I’m not sure exactly what their travel plans are, if they’re coming out for the week, kind of like we usually do, which is Thursday, get here Friday morning.

“We’re going to use it to our advantage, and anything we can, but we’ve got to have a great week, got to prepare the exact same way, but it’ll be nice to have a full week to get acclimated.”

Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson was a bit more on the fence. More statesman like as you would expect from a coach. But he did slightly admit to there potentially being an edge.

“I don’t know about that. I just know that, obviously, back-to-back games, the advantage for us is just that we’re here and I try to keep it as normal as if we were in Jacksonville,” Pederson said. “We understand what that travel is like, leaving on a Thursday and getting here Friday morning. And obviously, Buffalo they’ll experience that. Coach McDermott, I have a lot of respect for him, he’ll have those guys prepared for that trip.”
