Grimes’ best Buckeye Comparison: Noah Brown
Brown had a few solid highlights during his time as a Buckeye and was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the seventh round of the 2017 draft. He has stuck with Dallas since being drafted, but has not turned into a playmaker.
Grimes is not nearly the prospect Brown was coming out in 2017. Brown has better hands than Grimes, but they do share a few similar traits. Both have unique size that only a few receivers have, and both struggle to gain separation. Although Grimes is not nearly the caliber player as Brown, it would not be surprising to see him selected higher.
Noah Brown is both a serviceable ST player and a serviceable WR.
Kearse is a good ST guy who you don’t want playing defense.
