Travis Kelce said Taylor Swift making history at Grammys fuels his desire to win another Super Bowl

Taylor Swift’s record fourth Album of the Year win is inspiring Travis Kelce to win his third Super Bowl.

Taylor Swift made history at the Grammys on Sunday night, winning Album of the Year for her newest release, Midnight. It’s the fourth time Swift has won Album of the Year as she became the first artist ever to do so.

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce — who has been in a high-profile relationship with Swift for the last several months — commented on her unprecedented Grammys success during the Super Bowl 58 media night on Monday.

Kelce said her success fuels his desire to win some hardware of his own, namely his third Super Bowl title.

“She’s unbelievable,” Kelce said. “She’s rewriting the history books herself. I told her I need to hold up my end of the bargain and come home with some hardware, too.”

Kelce also said he has heard some of Swift’s upcoming album The Tortured Poets Department, which she announced during her Grammy speech and will release on April 19. However, he’s not divulging any secrets, according to ESPN’s Jeff Darlington.

Kelce is certainly not lacking in success on his end. The future Hall of Famer is considered by some to be the greatest tight end of all time, and in addition to his two Super Bowl rings, he’s a seven-time All-Pro, nine-time Pro Bowler and holds a number of NFL records.

He and the Chiefs will be looking for the hat trick as they play in their fourth Super Bowl in five seasons on Sunday.
