The minute Joel Embiid was introduced as a starter against the Oklahoma City Thunder in his debut in 2016 is when everything about this franchise changed. This was the guy the franchise and the city were waiting for and he made the wait worth it. He had 20 points and seven rebounds and he went on to average 20.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks in just 31 games. He was bold, he was exciting, he was talented, and he had the Sixers thinking playoffs before the injury cut his season short.
