The 2024 Kentucky Wildcats football season hasn’t yet begun, but the coaching staff is already working on the 2025 recruiting class. On Wednesday, they picked up a commitment from an offensive lineman, and on Thursday, Tavion Wallace, a top 50 player, put Kentucky in his final 12.
If the name sounds familiar to Wildcats fans, it should. His brother, Trevin Wallace, played linebacker in Lexington for the past three seasons, and will likely be drafted next month.

Tavion is the 50th ranked player, and sixth linebacker in the class by 247sports composite ranking. He is 6’1″ and around 200 lbs, so undersized as of now. Like his brother, he is a terrific athlete, who uses his speed effectively.
Other teams in Tavion’s final 12 are Florida State, Georgia, Michigan, and LSU among others. The Seminoles are the current favorites, but Wildcats fans hope he chooses to follow in his older brother’s footsteps. It would be a major recruiting win for Mark Stoops and Vince Morrow.
