2022 college basketball prospects are now able to be contacted by college coaches, which means we are entering a busy period for recruiting. Tom Izzo has already jumped into the fray with a number of bright young stars. One such prospect is Yorkville, Illinois’ Jaden Schutt, a 4-star shooting guard who plays for Yorksville High School. This was first reported by Jake Weingarten of Stockrisers.
Weingarten has Schutt labeled as a 4-star prospect in his initial story. Rivals has him listed as a 3-star and he is not yet ranked by 247Sports.
Michigan State’s Tom Izzo and Illinois’ Brad Underwood both spoke with four-star sophomore Jaden Schutt this morning, he told @Stockrisers.
Creighton, Georgia, Ohio State, amongst others reached out.

According to Weingarten, Schutt has also spoken to Illinois, Creighton, Georgia, and Ohio State.
