Shooting the upcoming Uncharted film was incredibly difficult for Tom Holland.
During an interview with GQ, Holland revealed that the film adaptation of PlayStation’s hit action-adventure game was an enormous physical undertaking.
“I never realized how lucky I am that Spider-Man wears a mask because when he’s bouncing around and flying from buildings, that’s all CG. In Uncharted, it’s just me in a henley and cargo pants,” Holland said via GQ. “That film absolutely broke me.”
Amazingly, the actor only had three days between wrapping up filming on Uncharted in Berlin before he immediately flew over to Atlanta to work on Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Holland went on to mention he had developed tendinitis while working on Uncharted. It’s nothing severe, just a sign of the physicality his roles usually require.
“I was going to the gym in the morning like, ‘Oh, my God, I’ve must have torn something in my leg,’ and the guys were like, ‘You haven’t, you’re just tired and you’re getting older,'” Holland said via GQ.
The big-screen adaptation of Uncharted is coming on Feb. 22, 2022, which is around the same time that the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is allegedly releasing too.
