Tight end Greg Olsen suffers foot injury in Seattle’s win over Arizona

Seahawks tight end Greg Olsen suffered a foot injury in Seattle’s win over the Arizona Cardinals Week 11 during “Thursday Night Football.”

The Seattle Seahawks might have beaten the Arizona Cardinals Thursday night but it came at a price. Tight end Greg Olsen had to leave the matchup after suffering a foot injury late in the game. He was ruled out shortly thereafter.

Coach Pete Carroll gave an update on Olsen’s status after the win.

“It’s a little early, but he has a fascia-tear injury that he’s had before in his other foot. He knows exactly what it is. Sometimes when it ruptures like it did – we think – it’s the best thing for a quick recovery.

“So we’ll see what happens and wish him the best – hopefully he can make it back.”

Carroll did not rule out Olsen’s return this season, reiterating it is too early to be making a firm prognosis.
