Four-star Michael Uini has had a quiet recruitment in terms of not many people had an idea of what he was going to do.
Uini is about as big as they come. He stands at 6-foot-7, 290-pounds, and has a ton of big offers. The Copperas Cove (Texas) product has had offers from Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, and plenty of others. But he ultimately made a final three of Michigan, Alabama, and Georgia.
Uini took an official visit to Ann Arbor back on June 16 and following the visit recruiting analysts were predicting Uini to head to Michigan — even with five offensive linemen committed to the Wolverines for 2024.
Uini is set to make his announcement on Friday and things are starting to not trend Michigan’s way. There are now two Cyrstal Ball predictions in for Georgia to land Uini — not the Wolverines.
According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, UGA now leads for Uini with a 55.1% chance — Michigan fell to second. EJ Holland and Zach Libby with The Wolverines both put in a prediction for UGA to land the big tackle.
We will know for sure Friday what Uini decides, but things are starting to flip away from Michigan in this recruitment.
