Another comeback, another win for the Oklahoma City Thunder.
OKC erased a 19-point deficit in the third quarter to top the Sacramento Kings 112-108 on Thursday night. It’s the fifth victory in a row for the Thunder and their 14th in their last 17 games.
Even without their second-leading scorer De’Aaron Fox, who missed the game with tightness in his abdominal muscles, Sacramento took a 61-50 lead into the half.
Oklahoma City, who has struggled in the third quarter at times this season, outscored the Kings 31-21 in the frame to get within a point at 82-81 to start the fourth.
Meanwhile, the loss snapped a three-game winning streak for the Kings.
It was another balanced scoring attack by the Thunder, who had six players in double figures, led by Danilo Gallinari with 24.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chris Paul had 20 and 17, respectively, while Steven Adams scored 15, Dennis Schroder added 13, and Nerlens Noel chipped in 10.
A game after his best offensive effort since Jan. 13, Terrance Ferguson was held scoreless, taking just three total shots from the field.
Oklahoma City won’t have much time to rest. They turnaround and head to Milwaukee to face the league’s best team on the second night of a back-to-back.
The Bucks are 50-8 on the season and have lost just three games at home this year.
Tip-off in Milwaukee is at 7 p.m. CT.
