DeMarvion Overshown, LB
The do it all linebacker decided to hold off on a NFL career to come back for a final season. Overshown is likely the best player on Texas’ defense, but if he could somehow take another step this season the Longhorns weakness from last year may become a strength in 2022. He has another offseason to add some weight and strength, while possibly even producing more than he did in 2021 when he accumulated 74 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, two passes broken up, two quarterback hurries, and a blocked punt. The defense lacked an identity in 2021, and if he can ascend to an higher level of production he could be just that.
