In the defense of Jordan Whittington, he has been unavailable and not the player the fans expected due to factors out of his control. He has been bit by the injury bug every season, and has yet to stay on the field for the entirety of a season. When he is on the field though, he has made huge plays and has proven to be a great third down receiver. He snagged 18 catches through Texas’ first four games in which they went 3-1 in that stretch. If he can stay healthy this season, the Longhorns will be home to one of the most dangerous receiver groups in the nation.
