Three takeaways from Oklahoma’s 94-90 overtime loss against Oklahoma State in Norman

Three immediate takeaways from Oklahoma’s 94-90 overtime loss against Oklahoma State on Saturday afternoon in Norman.

De’Vion Harmon continues to be superb

On Tuesday night, De’Vion Harmon continued to showcase his progression into a player that is incredibly special with loads of potential to become something really significant. He was dynamite in this game again on Saturday.

In the first half, he was the one that made things go scoring 14 points on six of seven shooting. He got out in transition, he made a couple 3-pointers, he was getting the job done and was a huge part of the team building a halftime lead. He kept that rolling through the second half an overtime as one of the best players on the floor.

Oklahoma owes their early success and being right in this game despite Cade Cunningham’s heroics to what Harmon was providing on the offensive end throughout the afternoon. His play continues to be a storyline with this team, even in a couple of losing efforts.
