Three takeaways from Oklahoma’s 62-57 loss against Kansas State in Manhattan

Three immediate takeaways from Oklahoma’s 62-57 upset loss to Kansas State on Tuesday night in Manhattan.

De’Vion Harmon’s game continues to progress

The other bright spot in this game outside of Reaves’ attempted heroics late was De’Vion Harmon again showing that he is a really good basketball player. That isn’t breaking any news, but his progression is really remarkable to watch unfold with each passing game.

The leap from his first year in Norman was noticeable and his improvement over the course of the season has also been apparent. His mid-range shooting ability is absolutely lethal, and he is a legitimate offensive threat on every single possession.

Assuming he stays with Oklahoma in the coming years, he is going to be an incredibly special player by the team he leaves the program. He already is a pretty darn good one now, after all.
