Three former Georgia Bulldog greats have made PFF’s All-Decade Top 101. The 2010s were a solid decade for Georgia football. UGA fans will hope the 2020s will offer more NFL superstars and the long-awaited national championship.
Outside linebacker Justin Houston comes 46th on PFF’s list of top players of the decade. Houston has spent most of his career in Kansas City. He almost broke the NFL sack record in 2014, when he recorded 22.0 sacks.
Houston is now with the Indianapolis Colts and continues to make an impact.
AJ Green, arguably the best receiver in Georgia history, comes 38th on the list. Green has missed some time due to injuries, but could be even higher. He’s among the NFL’s best wide receivers for the decade.
Green caught 602 passes for 8,907 yards and 63 touchdowns during the decade. He played every season for the Cincinnati Bengals.
The top Georgia Bulldog of the decade is Geno Atkins according to PFF. With 75.5 sacks in the 2010s, Atkins is one of the best pass rushing defensive tackles in the decade.
PFF grades the Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle behind only J.J. Watt and Aaron Donald along the defensive interior. Atkins still has gas left in the tank for this decade.
