This stat shows why Georgia QB JT Daniels is among the best in CFB

Georgia football’s offense is absolutely loaded headed into the 2021 season. The Bulldogs have their top rushers and receivers returning along with  gunslinger quarterback J.T. Daniels for a chance at a title.

Daniels made his first start against Mississippi State in game 7 last season and had about the best first game DawgNation could have asked for.

Daniels threw for 401 yards and four touchdowns on the way to a home-win and would go on to win his next three starts and ended the year with a win in the Peach Bowl versus a stout Cincinnati defense.

But what exactly makes Daniels such a good quarterback?

Pro Football Focus (PFF) grades each player on every snap throughout each season. In 2020, Daniels was graded as the best quarterback against the blitz in all of college football, boasting a near perfect 141.8 passer rating.

Daniels totaled 1,273 yards on 80 for 119 passing (67%) with 10 touchdowns and two interceptions in four games played.

One can only imagine what a full season will look like after a productive offseason and in-person workouts. The sky is the limit for this offensive unit DawgNation!
