This 2024 4-star ATH is planning to visit Florida during the season

The Gators will get another chance to host four-star athlete KingJoseph Edwards in the fall. He’s planning to visit the Swamp for a big SEC matchup.

The Florida Gators were one of the many Power Five teams to get 2024 four-star athlete [autotag]KingJopeph Edwards[/autotag] on campus over the summer, and things went well enough to earn a return trip during the fall, according to a Swamp247 report.

“They (Florida) are in my top 5,” Edwards said to 247Sports. “I’ll be back in the season for a game. Coach (Billy Napier) said I can come to any home game I want to.”

That game should be the October 15 matchup between Florida and LSU, Florida’s highest-profile home game this season. Utah is ranked No. 8 in the USA Today Coaches Poll, but the atmosphere in the Swamp during an SEC matchup is unmatched.

Those are not the only plans Edwards has made for the fall. He expects to be at Ohio State and Oregon in September and will stop by Alabama in October before hitting Miami, Michigan State, Notre Dame and Oklahoma in November. Edwards has made it clear that his schedule could change at any time, but he’s looking to explore all of his options fully.

Ranked No. 12 overall on the Top247, 247Sports’ individual rankings, Edwards won’t be denied any attention over the season. He doesn’t have to make a decision for a while, so expect him to enjoy the recruiting process a bit longer before truly narrowing things down.

Florida has offered him as a true athlete. Napier has decided he could use him as a tight end or defensive lineman in the SEC. The 247Sports composite ranks him No. 33 overall in the class of 2024 and No. 6 among athletes.
