Royals coach attacked

In one of the more bizarre moments in recent sports history, a father-son team jumped the fence at Comiskey Park, ran on the field and brutally attacked Royals first base coach Tom Gamboa on Sept. 19, 2002. Before players could come to his rescue, Gamboa already had sustained permanent hearing loss.
