2. Tanner Morgan (Minnesota)
We now enter the range of quarterbacks who most likely will have the upper hand against Coan when their teams meet the Badgers.
The stats speak for themselves for the rising senior as he finished his 2019 campaign with 3253 passing yards, 66% completion, 11.1 AY/A, 30 touchdowns and seven interceptions, touchdown and yard numbers both good for second in the Big Ten behind Ohio State’s Justin Fields.
It’s hard seeing Morgan best his impressive numbers from 2019 but, regardless, he is the second-best quarterback in the Big Ten heading into the 2020 season and will have the slight advantage against Coan when the two teams meet in October.
