The one part of a football game that Nick Saban and Alabama can’t seem to get right

We don’t know HOW this happens! Let us know why you think the Tide can’t win in this department?

Alabama holds a dynasty that will be featured in movies, books, TV shows and documentaries for years to come, but that doesn’t mean that every single detail is perfect.

So, what is that detail that the Crimson Tide can’t seem to get a handle on?

That detail would be the coin toss. Believe it or not, Alabama has only won five of their last 17 coin tosses, dating back to last season. This statistic is incredible, considering that it’s always a 50/50 shot for heads or tails each time the coin flies.

And yes, I’m aware that this lack of luck on the coin toss has had no bearing on the actual game, as of late. But, you have to admit, this is an incredible phenomenon.

It just goes to show that it doesn’t matter when the Tide gets the ball first, opening kickoff or halftime, obviously they will find a way to win, no matter what.

Maybe there’s a method to the madness?

AL.com’s Michael Casagrande dug up this odd stat and shared to Twitter.
