The NFL’s worst deep-ball quarterbacks

Which quarterbacks were least efficient when asked to push the ball down the field? None of these guys are kings of the deep passing game.

In Weeks 1-9 of the 2018 season, Goff completed 19 of 34 deep passes for 651 yards, six touchdowns, and two interceptions. Since then, as defenses have worked to figure out Sean McVay’s offense? From Week 10 through Super Bowl LII, and through the 2019 season, Goff completed just 30 of 97 deep passes for 958 yards, four touchdowns, and eight picks. Regression along the Rams’ offensive line didn’t help, but Goff is still trying to prove his ability to transcend scheme and make plays as any truly great quarterback would.
