The Bills’ top-five grades from PFF against the Jets

The #Bills’ top-five grades from PFF against the #Jets:

The Bills offense returned to form on Sunday, all they needed was to face one of the worst defenses in NFL history.

Four offensive players make this week’s list of top Pro Football Focus grades. At the top is sophomore wide receiver, Gabriel Davis.

Some might be asking where’s running back Matt Brieda? Brieda did score two touchdowns in eight offensive snaps, he must be on top of the list. But the minimum 25% snap requirement places him out. Breida was third among Bills running backs with 14% of the snaps on Sunday.

Leading the group is Gabriel Davis who had a spectacular day with three catches for 105 yards. Highlighted by a 49-yard catch where he danced around two Jets defensive backs to get his feet in bounds.

Placing just one-tenth of a percentage point behind Davis was Josh Allen. Allen darted passes, completing 75% of them for 366 yards and two touchdowns. Five Bills receivers had a catch for 15 or more yards.

Stefon Diggs and Emmanuel Sanders complete the offensive grouping. Diggs had his best game this season with eight catches, 162 yards, and a touchdown. He had a long reception of 57 yards. Sanders is a surprising addition after a day that had him finish with two catches for 27 yards.

Micah Hyde, the lone Bills defender, was the only member of the Bills starting secondary without an interception. But he didn’t want to be the odd one out of the turnover game so he forced and recovered a fumble to go along with his five tackles and one pass defense.
