De La Salle Spartans Football (Concord, CA)
The powerhouse out of Concord, California, is typically near the top of any ‘greatest high school teams’ rankings, and rightfully so. Spartans football, especially at the beginning of the 1990s to the turn of the millennium, was unstoppable. Led by head coach Bob Ladouceur, the team had a 151-game winning streak from 1992-2004, won multiple national championships (7), and produced a who’s-who of NFL talent. Since then, they have continued dominating—from 1991 to present-day, the Spartans are undefeated, with only two ties, against Northern California teams.
