High school baseball is one of the most difficult to narrow down. In Florida alone, teams like the Avon Park Red Devils, the Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks, even the Key West Conchs stand out among the logjam in the proverbial on-deck circle. However, few programs have dominated the highly talented area for high school baseball as much as the Warriors. The dominance of this program began in the 1980s and has remained solid to present-day, with notable players like Alex Rodriguez (pictured) on the alumni wall. The team has won 11 FHSSA titles, holds the most-consecutive tourney appearances (30) and wins (80), has twice been named USA Today National Champions, and the ’96 team even made it on a Team Cheerios cereal box.
