Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits Girls Track (Long Beach, CA)
Long Beach Poly has carried an outstanding sports tradition that dates back to the early 1900s. In 2005, the athletic program was voted “Sports School of the Century” by Sports Illustrated. The girls track team has been a significant part of the overall success. In an extremely competitive state (maybe the most) in track, the Jackrabbits have been at the top of the mountain for over 30 years. During that time, the team has won an incredible 15 state titles—which is even more impressive when considering the state only crowns one champ.
