The summer sports lull is finally upon us, but the stars were out for the 2023 ESPYs in Los Angeles.
Yes, it’s once again time for the ESPYs, the sports equivalent of the Oscars thanks to the folks at ESPN. This year will be a bit different than normal, however, as there will be no host of the 2023 ESPYs due to the Writers Guild of America strike.
Still, the show must go on, and what a show it should be. Patrick Mahomes is once again up for Best Male Athlete after a stunning performance last season. The Denver Nuggets are nominated for Best Team after winning its first championship only one month ago. And fans will no doubt be treated to a feast of sports highlights from across the last year, including Michael Block’s unbelievable hole-in-one at the 2023 PGA Championship.
