Texas vs. Texas Tech: Who are the experts predicting to win?

We’ve compiled a list of expert predictions for the Texas vs. Texas Tech game on Sept. 26.

Texas will travel to Lubbock to face Texas Tech in the conference opener on Sept. 26.

Although the spread is currently in Texas’ favor at -18, a few experts predict the game to be much closer than what’s on paper. Each team is currently undefeated after their lone nonconference game, but the results weren’t comparable.

Texas Tech defeated Houston Baptist 35-33 while allowing 567 passing yards in the process. Texas absolutely dominated UTEP by a score of 59-3 and were able to dig deep into their roster to rest the majority of starters after one half of play.
