As we’ve all quickly witnessed, anything can happen when it comes to the Big 12 Conference.
Right when you feel confident in the way things are going, the train falls off the tracks. Kansas State and Iowa State both suffered unexpected losses during their lone nonconference game to open the season.
Outside of Texas and Oklahoma, the Big 12 appeared weak.
However, Kansas State rebounded to shock then-No. 3 Oklahoma to begin conference play. Texas barely escaped Lubbock with an overtime win over Texas Tech, while TCU lost to Iowa State.
What’s going to happen next? We’ve compiled a list of what the national media believes will happen when the TCU Horned Frogs travel to face No. 9 Texas on Oct. 3.
The spread currently favors Texas at -11.5, but TCU quarterback Max Duggan had a field day with the Longhorns in 2019. It was one of Sam Ehlinger’s worst games of his collegiate career — throwing four interceptions in the 10-point loss.
