One would probably be hard-pressed to find someone playing better baseball than Texas utility player Murphy Stehly at the moment.
Stehly hit .545 with four home runs and 14 RBI in Texas’ 4-1 week. He recorded a hit in all five games, helping the Longhorns outscore its opponents 59-8 during the four-game win streak.
He saved his best performance for last as he mashed three home runs in the series finale against Incarnate Word, becoming the first Longhorn since 2002 to accomplish that feat.

Just a casual three-homer game for @MurphyStehly.

Stehly is currently leading the team with a .458 batting average and .505 on-base percentage. He has established himself as an everyday starter in the Texas lineup.
This marks back-to-back weeks that a Longhorn was named Big 12 player of the week as Ivan Melendez took home the honor on March 14.
Texas is holding steady at No. 2 in the polls with a big test awaiting them in Lubbock this weekend.
