Texas softball has had a fantastic start to the 2024 season.
The Longhorns are 7-0 on the season, including four wins via run-rule and wins over No. 2 Tennessee, No. 8 UCLA (twice) and No. 9 Stanford away from home.
D1Softball released their Top 25 rankings on Monday and Texas landed at No. 2 behind Oklahoma. Georgia, Washington and Tennessee rounded out the top five.
Other polls such as Softball America, ESPN and USA TODAY Sports have Texas at No. 2 as well.
