Texas Report Card: PFF grades from the Oklahoma State loss

It wasn’t a great day as a whole for the Texas Longhorns. Which ones graded best/worst on Saturday?

For the second week in a row, the Texas Longhorns fell to a team that hails from the state of Oklahoma. They lost in a similar fashion again this week as they blew a double-digit lead.

The Longhorns led 17-3 following the 13-yard catch and run by Bijan Robinson from Casey Thompson. From that point forward, Texas was outscored 29-3 as Oklahoma State stayed perfect on the season. Their performance launched them inside the top 10 of this week’s poll.

Oklahoma State and Oklahoma are now both in firm control of their destinies and could meet twice this season. For Texas, they have some soul searching to do as they try and right the ship. The Iowa State and Baylor matchups will be big for the team just looking for a better bowl bid at this point.

As far as Pro Football Focus (PFF) grades from this game, the top performer on offense was wide receiver Keilan Robinson, although he only played five snaps. Derek Kerstetter was the top performer on offense. Defensively, the team was led by linebacker Jaylan Ford. Texas lost DeMarvion Overshown for the game due to a concussion after only 16 snaps on defense.

Take a look at which Longhorns graded well, and which ones were on the wrong end of the spectrum.
