Texas Report Card: PFF grades from the Oklahoma State loss

It was a day to forget for Quinn Ewers.

Texas suffered a 41-34 loss to Oklahoma State on Saturday.

It was a day to forget for Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers. He finished 19 of 49 with two touchdowns and three interceptions. His 14 overthrows were the most by a Texas quarterback since 2010.

Bijan Robinson concluded the game with 24 carries for 140 yards and one touchdown, and Roschon Johnson had an impressive day of his own with five carries for 73 yards and one touchdown.

The loss drops Texas to 5-3 on the season and 3-2 in Big 12 play. They’ll likely need to run the table in order to have any chance at making the conference title game in December.

As far as Pro Football Focus (PFF) grades from the Texas-Oklahoma State game, the top performer on offense was wide receiver Brenen Thompson, while defensive lineman Alfred Collins held that honor on the defensive side.
