Texas remains the favorite to land five-star OL Devon Campbell on Feb. 2

Kyle Flood may have one more card up his sleeve to add to Texas’ already loaded 2022 class.

Texas offensive line coach Kyle Flood may have one more wave left in him for the 2022 class.

After rounding up what can arguably be considered the best offensive line class in school history, Texas is in an intense battle to add one more player at that position.

Five-star offensive lineman Devon Campbell announced his top two schools on Dec. 15 — Texas and Oklahoma — and is set to make his decision on Feb. 2.

In an exclusive content article by On3 Sports, the standings of schools for uncommitted recruits were addressed, and Longhorns fans will be pleased what was said about Campbell.

The latest: Devon Campbell is set to sign with Oklahoma or Texas on Feb. 2. The new staff at Oklahoma has continued to recruit Campbell. But the Longhorns are in a position to add to their impressive offensive line haul this cycle. Nothing has changed, as the Longhorns are the clear favorite.

With the addition of Campbell, Texas will have their offensive line core for of the future, and not have to worry about groups like the 2021 season where they had to rotate players like it was a hockey line change.
