Texas appears to be finding momentum on the recruiting trail for the 2023 cycle.
The Longhorns only have one commit in the 2023 class up to this point in four-star safety Jamel Johnson. However, that’s likely to ramp up in the coming weeks as several talented prospects are slated to visit Austin during spring practices.
Five-star running back Rueben Owens, five-star quarterback Arch Manning and four-star wide receiver Johntay Cook are each scheduled to visit Texas the weekend of March 26. The trio has expressed interest in playing together and the Longhorns appear to be in great position with each of them.
