Texas receives crystal ball prediction for wide receiver Savion Red

Savion Red could be a diamond in the rough.

With early signing day just seven days away, there have been early indications that Texas is going to hit some major home runs.

The Longhorns have been on the receiving end of multiple crystal balls over the past week, as they received one for five-star offensive lineman Kelvin Banks, four-star offensive lineman Malik Agbo, and four-star safety Larry Turner-Gooden.

On Wednesday, Texas received more positive news on the recruiting trail, as a crystal ball prediction was entered in their favor for do-it-all athlete and three-star wide receiver Savion Red. The former SMU commit was offered by the Longhorns just days after his decommitment, and has the makings of a receiver who can also be utilized as gadget player.

During his time at Grand Prairie High School, Red was making plays all over the field, as he played both quarterback and receiver.

With someone as dynamic as he is, partnered up with an offensive mind like Steve Sarkisian, only great things can happen. Red seems like a perfect fit for Sarkisian’s offense and will only bolster this 2022 class.
