Texas RB Bijan Robinson named one of most intriguing prospects in 2023 NFL draft

USA TODAY Sports recently ranked the 10 most intriguing prospects in the 2023 NFL draft.

The 2023 NFL draft is roughly two months away.

Several former Longhorns are likely to hear their name called during the three-day event. Texas running back Bijan Robinson is considered one of the top prospects in this draft class regardless of position and will likely be taken off of the board during the first round.

DeMarvion Overshown, Roschon Johnson, Moro Ojomo and Keondre Coburn are also intriguing prospects in their own right. Even defensive backs D’Shawn Jamison and Anthony Cook have a solid chance to be drafted.

USA TODAY Sports recently ranked the top 10 most intriguing prospects in the 2023 NFL draft class and Bijan Robinson landed at No. 3.

Bar none, the best running back prospect since Saquon Barkley. This isn’t 2018, though, and there’s no Dave Gettleman waiting to take him in the top five. Robinson is shifty, strong and fast, and his chops in the passing game make him a multi-purpose threat. But he’s entering the league during an apparent recession for investment in running backs, which could push him to the end of the first round – or beyond. A robust group of free agents and deep draft class for ball carriers could further hinder his prospects.
