Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian provided positive news on the injury front today.
During his Monday media availability, Sarkisian mentioned “everybody practiced” including quarterback Quinn Ewers, defensive backs Jalen Catalon and Kitan Crawford, left tackle Kelvin Banks, and right tackle Christian Jones.
Much of the week will be centered around Ewers’ health. It’s possible Texas’ starting quarterback could return for the TCU game in Week 11, but Sarkisian noted that it depends how Ewers feels as the week progresses.
Ewers was able to throw the ball and participate in practice at some level on Monday, but it’s not clear to what extent. If Ewers is unable to return this week, Maalik Murphy is in line to make his third consecutive start for the Longhorns.
Texas football coach Steve Sarkisian said Quinn Ewers threw today and the quarterback has been updated from week-to-week to day-to-day. Said it's all about how Ewers feels.
