Texas opens as underdogs against Oklahoma State per BetMGM

Texas opens as slight underdogs in a crucial Big 12 matchup with Oklahoma State.

Texas will face Oklahoma State in Stillwater on Oct. 31 in a crucial Big 12 matchup.

According to BetMGM, Texas opens as +3.5 underdogs. Prior to the 2020 college football season kicking off, this particular game was circled as one of the most intriguing matchups on Texas’ schedule.

The Cowboys remain undefeated with a perfect 4-0 record overall. However, Texas will be the most talented roster that the Cowboys have faced up to this point in the season.

Although the Longhorns suffered back-to-back conference losses to TCU and Oklahoma, head coach Tom Herman’s squad was able to rebound against Baylor.

Oklahoma State is a must-win game for Texas if they hope to stay alive in the Big 12 title race. Texas has arguably been their own worst enemy in each of their two losses this season, therefore they’re certainly capable of pulling off an upset in Stillwater.

Iowa State, Kansas State and Oklahoma State currently sit with a better conference record than Texas. After defeating Baylor by 11 points, the Longhorns are now 2-3 against the spread this year.
