Texas is now targeting the No. 3 overall player in Missouri from the 2022 recruiting class.
Four-star defensive end Tyson Ford announced via Twitter that he received an offer from the University of Texas on Monday. The 6-foot-5, 245-pound highly touted product is listed as the No. 9 overall weakside defensive end in the country according to 247Sports Composite.
Ford’s number of offers is only expected to grow within the coming months. Notre Dame, Texas A&M, Michigan, Arkansas and Arizona State have already joined the sweepstakes for this rare talent.
