Texas offers 2024 four-star TE Carter Nelson

Alabama, Texas A&M, Ole Miss and Texas extended an offer to Carter Nelson over the last week. He’s the No. 1 overall recruit in Nebraska.

Texas officially extended an offer to one of the top prospects in the 2024 recruiting class on Monday.

Four-star tight end Carter Nelson announced that he received an offer from the University of Texas. The Nebraska native is rated the No. 1 overall prospect in the state for the 2024 recruiting class and the No. 10 tight end in the country, according to 247Sports composite.

In 2021, he recorded 28 receptions for 511 yards and eight touchdowns for Ainsworth High School. On the defensive side, Carter compiled 34 tackles, five tackles for loss, three sacks and one interception.

Carter’s recruitment is beginning to pick up steam as he was offered by Alabama, Texas A&M, Ole Miss and Texas over the last week.
